The Ballymaloe Cookery School and Guest House is located near the village of Shanagarry, Co. Cork, Ireland. This is the home of a very well known Irish Cookery School, Restaurant, and Guest House operated by the Allen family. It is a large country house located on 400 acres of beautiful Irish farm land. It is located 20 miles southeast of Cork City. Nearby villages are Cloyne, Ballycotton, Midleton and Shanagarry.

The School and Guest house is located in a lovely part of the Irish countryside. We passed through the green country in our car, anticipating our visit to the restaurant, which is very well known and popular. Our lunch meal was delicious and very well presented and served. We highly recommend a lunch or dinner visit to Ballymaloe House.
